The Demonstration System Engineer/Technologist - UV Water Treatment is responsible for managing and executing pilot projects and providing support to Trojan UV Sales projects in field trials and demonstrations of Ultraviolet Disinfection & UV Advanced Oxidation systems. This is a technical position that requires the ability to design and implement test programs and protocols, execute test projects, safely perform hands-on work, process optimization, and maintain high customer satisfaction while demonstrating TrojanUV technologies with a goal of supporting the sale of full-scale UV systems projects.

Travel required is estimated to be 25%.

This position is part of the Technical Sales Support team, and will be hybrid in London, ON.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement pilot (small scale UV equipment testing and demonstration) service offering solutions including but not limited to pricing, building and contract offering solutions.

  • Solve pilot problems by diagnoses of component, system failures or process issues to isolate root causes and implement effective corrective actions.

  • Create and conduct comprehensive product and technical training to customer equipment operators, maintenance personnel, engineers, and others as required.

Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Diploma or degree in Electrical discipline.

  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast‐paced, highly professional environment.

  • Demonstrated troubleshooting, process, mechanical, and electrical diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance skills with ability to work from mechanical, electrical, and process and instrumentation drawings.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Understanding and capability in troubleshooting hydraulic systems, PLC software, and HMI software based on established designs as needed.

  • Water treatment processes including UV disinfection

  • Trojan UV product offerings.
