Your New Role…

We are looking for a Procurement Associate who wants to develop their career within Procurement. Reporting to the Snr Procurement Director Sports, you will support category strategy development and associated initiatives for the company. You’ll use your experience and enthusiasm to proactively partner with stakeholders to negotiate with suppliers, support our clients and support sourcing opportunities. Our company’s Sports category is a growing area of the business, so this is an exciting time to join the team! This is a great opportunity for someone with more passion and enthusiasm than experience.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Obtain relevant information to support supplier negotiations and renewals.

  • Source new alternate suppliers and carrying out various due diligence and checks.

  • Support the team in developing new strategies and spend analysis.

  • Evaluate business requirements and Sports sector to identify innovations, potential shortfalls and risk mitigation planning.

  • Help collate and run Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP), and supplier auctions.

  • Monitor supplier relationship programs that cut across business areas to ensure service levels are being met.

  • Leverage sourcing and spend management tools to conduct market research and determine baseline spend and associated costs.

Qualifications & Experience…

  • Experience in the Sports, Media and/or Entertainment industry is preferred

  • Professional procurement accreditation is preferred

  • Multilingual capability is preferred but not essential

  • An understanding and proficiency in developing RFPs and conducting bid analysis

  • Relationship Building skills: gaining trust, service orientation, customer focus

  • Planning & Organisational: strong, confident character, multi-tasking skills and abilities

  • Communication: clear, concise communicator with attention to detail, ability to translate complex messages into commonly understood terms

  • Influencing others: persuasion, ability to see multiple perspectives

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
