About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Spa Therapist to join us at The Carlton Tower Jumeirah. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
Perform a professional service according to standard with attention to detail and in a prompt timely manner.
Advise guests of treatments and products available at the spa.
Ensure all standards are met and maintained through the use of effective check lists
Communicate through appropriate channels any guest related matters, products or equipment needs, technical, service requests, etc.
Maintain accurate records of treatments carried out and till receipts for submission to claim appropriate commission entitlements.
In the absence of the receptionist, to take bookings and accept payments for beauty treatments and products.
To have a good knowledge of all other services
To ensure that all aspects of Health & Safety are maintained at the highest of levels and regular checks are carried out on all equipment in use in the treatment rooms
To report all defects promptly and ensure rectification is carried out in the shortest possible time or closure of equipment facilities.
To carry out a variety of beauty treatments and promote the services that are offered to the standards required by the Hotel.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Previous experience as a fully qualified therapist.
Excellent level of English
Friendly, approachable and professional with a mature manner.
Proven retail sales skills
Excellent personal presentation
Very competent in hot waxing, providing outstanding beauty/spa treatments with an eye for detail.
