Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced seamstress to join our team and contribute to our exciting new initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate sewing machines and perform garment construction, alterations, and repairs with precision.
Work with various fabrics and materials to create high-quality finished products.
Collaborate closely with designers and project managers to meet specific project requirements and deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
Assist in the training of new team members when necessary.
Support the administrative team with tasks such as inventory management, order processing, and customer service when not actively sewing.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance workflow and product quality.
-Cleaning and maintaining the sewing machine so it remains in good working condition.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a seamstress, preferably with a portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and other relevant equipment.
Strong understanding of different fabrics and sewing techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Flexibility to assist with administrative tasks and adapt to various roles within the team.
