Payroll Coordinator

The Payroll Coordinator will join our world-class London People Shared Services Centre, a team of skilled People and Payroll professionals, responsible for providing service delivery for our UK & Ireland business which supports an employee population of over 14,000.

Responsible for the accurate calculation and entry of payroll data for all payrolls into Pay Adjustment templates, Loading of Pay data files received from the business. Supporting data input queries with Payroll provider.

This role is based out of our London Head Office, working hybrid.

Responsibilities

•Collation and accurate input of all payroll data into Ceridian Dayforce via uploads and quick entry screens

•Perform accurate manual payroll calculations ensuring they meet business policies and statutory legislation

•Ensure input is done in a timely manner meeting Payroll deadlines and business cut-offs

•Work in collaboration with Reconciliation co-ordinator to ensure data is correct, proactively managing data errors, highlighting to relevant data owners, and ensuring corrections are made or provided

•Maintain accurate records of information input for data audit purposes

Person Specification

•Experience working within complex payroll departments with multiple payrolls with differing T&C’s

•Payroll Data input via uploads in volume

•Experience of completing manual payroll calculations

•Working to defined deadlines and cut-offs

•Excellent understanding of Payroll and People processes

•Experience of working in a pressurised environment with the ability to prioritise workloads

•Experience of working in an HR Shared Services team

•Strong Payroll knowledge including statutory calculations

•High level of PC/database skills, including Microsoft Office
