The Opportunity

  • The marketing team is seeking a proven and highly motivated individual that will define, develop, and implement marketing plans that build awareness, generate leads, and cultivate existing client relationships for Bloomberg's solutions for corporations in the EMEA region.

  • You will work with business partners and internal marketing team members (content, digital, creative, events teams) within the region and globally to lead execution of your marketing programmes to the highest standards. While the primary remit of this role is the EMEA region, you will partner closely with other marketing managers from across the globe, ensuring we are sharing standard processes, making use of overlapping campaigns, and driving a similar narrative.

  • You must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, be able to handle a high volume of projects and demonstrate financial services knowledge and a passion for our brand.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Collaborate with the business to identify marketing priorities and build supporting campaign execution, from planning to implementation through all functional marketing areas, as well as internal & external agencies.

  • Work closely with regional marketing managers globally to ensure the solutions/audiences you are responsible for are supported with well-informed and innovative marketing programs that successfully deliver a return on our marketing investment.

  • Run your own workload and prioritise multiple requests from various parts of the business, and demonstrate the ability to problem-solve and identify creative solutions

  • Take initiative to generate and drive new or existing ideas and execute within a timely manner.

  • Become an advocate for the Bloomberg brand to ensure all marketing activities are aligned and support the overall brand.

  • Work across multiple teams to deliver the best results.

  • Adapt, learn quickly and be resourceful.

  • Be innovative and creative to bring new insights to the team.

You’ll need to have:

  • 5+ years of experience working as a marketing professional.

  • A good understanding of the financial services market in EMEA.

  • Knowledge about key financial organisation types and their financial professionals and decision makers.

  • Demonstrable ability to partner with the business and internal marketing teams.

  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills with an ability to create project plans and lead through seamless execution.

  • Proven leadership and relationship management skills.
