Responsibilities

What you will do!

  • Ensuring all business standards and service levels are met for project deployments. You will play a key leadership role in the organization, managing the business practices to ensure client success is achieved as it relates to their medical device interoperability goals.

  • You will contribute to the vision, strategy, planning, evaluation, design, development and implementation of products across clients that incorporate the programs mission.

  • Development of process improvements and evolution of the overall Oracle Health technology strategy for CareAware Device Integration products.

  • Contributing to the development of the overall solution roadmap and ensuring that implementation operating procedure align. This also includes ensuring infrastructure architecture meets standards, improves efficiency, and supports platform compatibility.

  • People management responsibilities will include seeking to understand disagreements, ensuring all perspectives are heard and facilitate a plan for resolution.

  • You will delegate the work appropriately, provide clear expectations, follow up to ensure progress and overcome roadblocks. This will require the ability to adjust priorities based on team needs, client goals and business direction.

  • You will lead by example, sharing knowledge and experiences with the team. You will be responsible for maintaining a respectful work environment where you advocate for your team, create accountability and recognize their accomplishments.

  • Travel up to 40%

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare IT, Management Information Systems or related field or equivalent relevant experience.

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience related to the role including at least 2 years of healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, business operations and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience

Preferred Experience:

  • 2 years of People management, matrix management, project management or other indirect leadership work experience.

  • Previous experience with the Cerner CareAware iBus and related CareAware products

  • Previous experience with health system operations

  • Cerner Millennium application experience
