WTW FI Claims Advocacy - Administrative Assistant in London, United Kingdom

The Opportunity

This role is focussed within the FINEX Global Line of Business, with the principal aim of working with the Financial Institutions (FI) Claims Advocacy team in relation to claims / potential claims which are high profile, client critical or technically complex with a view to achieving the best result for the client and enhancing Willis Towers Watsons' (WTW) reputation for contributing positively to the strategic direction of claims management. The role also focusses on the co-ordination of Thought Leadership and will involve project managing the publication and distribution of Thought Leadership content.

Key responsibilities will include:

Claims Advocacy:

  • Working with the Claims Advocates and Account Executives in relation to claims or potential claims which are considered to be high profile, client critical or technically complex ("Complex Claims"), with a view to:-

  • Attending and drafting notes of client meetings/calls with Account Executives and Claims Advocates;

  • Assisting in administrative duties;

  • Managing and co-ordinating claims files and maintaining schedules and records accurately;

  • Proactively following up open items;

  • Working with claims broking and processing teams to ensure efficient negotiation, collection and payment of claims;

  • Assisting in the production of RFP materials;

  • Creating and maintaining the library of Claims Advocacy resources, including the claims database and team intranet site;

  • Organising and facilitating team training.

  • Thought Leadership

  • Co-ordinating with Marketing and Compliance regarding the production and publication of articles, webinars, podcasts and other promotional materials;

  • Keeping a schedule of current content produced and managing an ongoing schedule to meet deadlines;

  • Assisting in the production of client ready marketing material for the FI team.

The successful candidate will:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience, ideally within an insurance company, insurance brokerage, or law firm, showcasing understanding of professional services and litigation processes;

  • Have strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail;

  • Be highly organised with ability to juggle multiple deadlines;

  • Able to deal professionally with internal and external contacts;

  • Have a robust commercial approach and a commitment to finding solutions;

  • Have the ability to work and effectively communicate with all levels of management and with your colleagues.
