Oracle Consulting Practice Manager in LONDON, United Kingdom
Job Description
Hiring, developing & retaining technology consulting staff in line with the business plans for the practice across UK/Ireland
Direct liaison & alignment with the OC Tech & cloud sales organisation
Inputting into the execution & strategy for the delivery of consulting services
Achievement of practice utilisation, revenue & consumption targets for your team’s practice area
Accurate forecasting of team project engagement
Ensuring high/low cost resource mix is maximised
Execution of performance management processes ensuring the ongoing enhancement of the skills and capabilities of the practice.
Development & introduction of new customer success services & propositions (in alignment with EMEA Consulting management)
Manage a portfolio of projects as project sponsor supporting the customer success team & act as an escalation point
Liaison with sales organisation in terms of commercial account components (upsells etc.)
Form part of the Executive Leadership team inputting into OC Tech strategy, growth and cross team working
Drive CSAT, Customer Stories & references across portfolio
Career Level - M3
Responsibilities
Experience of managing & leading Consulting/Professional Services/Implementation teams
Understanding of the full cloud deployment project lifecycle
Strong leadership & management skills
Experience of planning, organising & directing the activities of Consulting/Professional Services/Implementation teams
Evidenced ability to lead change & encourage new & better ways of working
Thorough understanding of delivery processes for cloud projects & the metrics that are appropriate for their estimation & delivery
Excellent verbal & written communications skills
Self-motivated & able to work under pressure – including the ability to motivate & influence others
8+ years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience and preferably 2 years of project management leadership experience
Ability to travel as needed with weekly office working
Security Clearance or ability to be SC is highly desirable
