Do you have a passion for providing exceptional service in a luxury setting? Then The Park Tower Knightsbridge, a Luxury Collection Hotel has an exciting opportunity for a Butler to join our team.

As a Butler you will:

Be a key member of the Butler and Front of House team within the hotel, reporting to the Director of Rooms. As the home of luxury, The Park Tower Knightsbridge continues to redefine modern luxury with impeccable service. Butlers are the heart and soul of luxury service providing creativity, originality and personalization. The ultimate luxury ambassadors.

The butlers provide bespoke experiences and services to fulfil all guests’ needs throughout their stay and upon departure, in partnership with other operational departments within the hotel. Butlers are the key in building rapport with guests, proactively anticipating guest’s needs in order to create memorable moments. The Park Tower Knightsbridge as well as every associate is part of a trailblazing future of redefined luxury service. The butler’s success is rooted in a deep passion for service excellence, uncompromising standards, impeccable interpersonal skills, ability to anticipate needs and create memories to be cherished for years to come.

Key Tasks you will carry out:

Provide personalized service and attention to fulfilling all guest needs including but not limited to:

  • Delivering coffee and tea upon request.

  • Preparing notes of new arrivals to prepare and communicate the important preferences to the entire hotel operation.

  • Coordinating with the front desk to prepare the VIP rooms.

  • Checking the room key and briefly double checking if every detail is up to the guest expectation and request.

  • Coordinate with front desk to escort early arrivals, be present upon the guests check in to anticipate the guests needs.

  • Complete the butler flags which were put into local systems by the reservation, sales and other departments, and send pre-arrival emails.

  • Coordinate with the front desk to escort the VIP to their rooms.

  • Work closely with the Guest Services and Engineering departments on requests.

  • Pick up laundry request from guests, follow up on laundry delivery and return laundry to the guest promptly.

In general you will report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance; and stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

You will have previous experience of working as a Butler or within a Guest Services role.

Personality is the key to our roles, as is a genuine passion about people. You will have a welcoming personality; have excellent communication and presentation skills; be a team player and pride yourself on delivering exceptional service with genuine warmth. Excellent command of the English language is required. We want people who are confident, willing to multitask and undertake duties outside of the normal job description, are easy to be around and can really contribute to delivering on our strategy and objectives to support a successful hotel operation.
