ROLE DIMENSIONS

  • This team will be tasked with crafting true icons of luxury with a focus on culture, connection to on trade and high execution standards all in service of creating the most talked about luxury spirits in the UK 

  • The Brand Experience Manager is a newly created role that seeks to encompass the shopper marketing skills but elevate the role to deliver actual experiences as well. The role will have an eye for creative excellence and be equally comfortable creating shopper toolkits, as they are curating brand experiences across on trade, experiential and culture

  • They will hold the creative standards high ensuring the icons deliver luxury at all touch points, working with industry leading creative agencies to develop outstanding BTL activation plans

  • The role sits in the tequila team which also consists of Head of Tequila, a Senior Brand Manager, Brand Manager and Assistant Brand Manager

TOP ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead and build the strategy and development for the full BTL & experience element of the tequila portfolio, creating shopper plans and activations the cement the luxury status of the brands

  • Deliver thought leadership and clarity in defining how these brands should be executed across all channels (on trade/off trade/3rd Space), setting clear blueprints for what excellence looks like, with the full suite of solutions to deliver

  • Develop serve plans for Paloma and Margarita that truly get these serves to scale including the glassware and soft drink partner solutions

  • Lead the BTL/ experiential/ shopper agency relationships to create industry leading activations.

  • Manage the POS for both tequila brands

  • Deliver the House of Friends platform across on trade and experiential: ensuring the brand activations are delivered to the top quality and right standards. For certain hero House of Friends executions lead the actual development and curation of the execution (to be decided in partnership with commercial teams)

  • Deliver the Don Julio experience in the top end of the on trade and cultural events with a focus on 1942 creating outstanding luxury experiences.

IDEAL EXPERIENCES / QUALIFICATIONS / CAPABILITIES

  • 6+ years of relevant marketing experience, including experience of luxury marketing

  • Outstanding ability to build and maintain genuine relationships based on mutual trust & respect

  • Successful management of senior collaborators at all levels, resulting in strong and positive outcomes

  • Holistic skills across all BTL pillars including experiential, retail, on trade and culture

  • Being able to excel when dealing with ambiguity, complexity and working within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and matrixed environment

  • Demonstrated brilliant execution to impeccably high standards

  • Deep personal accountability for great performance

  • Experience of working with and leading a team, whether directly or indirectly
