BOS Global Operations Lead

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for driving successful performance and maintaining operational excellence against measured goals and client expectations. This position will bring globally recognized performance management, resource support, and continuous value proposition in a service provider centric model. This individual will leverage resources across finance, HR, data analytics, digital technology, process & change management, and operations to perform the functions of their role. The role will interface with Client’s team, Client’s procurement team, CBRE’s team, and other CBRE support resources.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead a team to complete all the client operational and commercial requirements.

  • Leads discussions with client team on the operating budget, project forecasts, and tracking cost/spend.

  • Must be proficient in Excel / Sheets to drive the extensive formulaic and data driven approach.

  • Supports and tracks CBRE’s contract administration function including scope of work, purchase orders, authorizations to proceed, and invoicing.

  • Identifies, tracks and develops tools to enable the management of KPIs for budget, schedule, data accuracy, sustainability, strategic sourcing, and process compliance.

  • Works with the client and wider Operations team to recommend policies and directives to drive better and more consistent performance across the team.

  • Leads efforts to assist in preparation for Quarterly Business Reviews and annual Reviews.

  • Manages tracking and reporting of KPIs including financial and other approved measures.

  • Prepares reports, analytics, correspondences, presentations on a monthly/quarterly basis.

  • Work with the team, to create detailed guides and manuals for implementation and operation.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Two direct supervisory responsibilities in this position Day 1. Will be responsible for these reports for items such as guidance and/or training. Will coordinate work and assign tasks across the team to cover all efforts of the required workstream.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree (i.e. BA/BS) from College or University in a technical area of study (i.e. Project Management, Finance, Quality Management and/or Business Administration).

  • Minimum five years of related experience and/or training.

  • Must have experience working in the corporate, commercial, or retail real estate sector.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

  • Excellent influencing, writing, and verbal skills with an ability to inform cross-functional teams in a simplified and thoughtful manner.

  • Stakeholder management and communications with CBRE and Client leadership.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to CBRE and Client teams.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

  • Advanced skills with Google Workspace application, reporting dashboards. Intermediate knowledge of contracts, construction practices, reporting dashboards.

  • Decisions made with comprehensive understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause medium-term impact to the department.
