Summary of role
For our Global Sales Operations Team in EMEA we are looking for a positive and ambitious Inside Sales who is willing to go the extra mile for some of our global customers. The Centralised Inside Sales role is an internal based role within GSO EMEA team. The Global Sales Operations EMEA Team is a fast-paced team servicing global customers in the EMEA region.
This role involves all aspects of day-to-day sales and customer service management associated with planning and delivery of materials throughout EMEA enabling our Global account customers to meet their project objectives and deadlines. This role will be a mix of inside sales responsibilities (quoting/order-entry/backlog management), plus assisting the Global Sales Operations team with regional co-ordination of end-user clients.
Main responsibilities/Key goals
Raising quotations for direct business and ensuring pricing consistency for Indirect Contractor channels working on these projects.
Managing all aspects of order entry/maintenance/scheduling/back-order management
Work with Anixter support functions to enable customer onboarding
Working within a dynamic project team and looking after all aspects of project delivery
Work with inventory team to manage a pipeline/forecast of sites/materials
Liaise with the local sales teams to ensure the smooth running of projects and ongoing Global Account business
Special conditions (e.g. frequent travel, early starts and late finishes)
A willingness to continually exceed customer expectations in service and support.
Late finishes and early starts, as workload demands, due to the global nature of the customer.

Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Teams is required
Qualifications/education required
- Educated to advanced or college level equivalent preferred
Necessary skills, knowledge and experience
Results & quality driven with a sense of urgency.
Ability to understand and operate in a complex strategic sales environment.
Previous experience with complex account management is desirable but not mandatory
Excellent information management and communication skills; able to reason, negotiate and present effectively
Basic product knowledge of key product portfolio (Security & Access Control)
English required
Second language desirable but not mandatory
Ability to navigate the Wesco Anixter organisation.
Good decision-making processes and skills
High attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively
Good knowledge of Word, Excel PowerPoint & Teams
Positive attitude, dynamic, eager to learn and ambitious
Well-structured and organised with good planning skills
Ability to cope well under pressure
Enthusiastic and confident nature
