Job Summary

The Analyst & Commercial Executive is responsible for the analytics support of the Sales Management team when it comes to coordinating sales projects from the initial client proposal to pipeline management to execution; contributing to scale our sales organisation by helping build and streamline our sales processes, improve coordination with key internal stakeholders; and coordinating with team members to ensure deadlines are met, processes are in place, are key stakeholders are aware.

Job Description

This will not be your typical sales or sales support function. With your analytic and data driven mindset, there are 4 areas that you will need to manage: contribute to the growth of our existing customer base using sales data; support in the launch of new initiatives or products; support in the monitoring, coordination, and optimisation of existing sales processes; and support the sales data pipeline.

By utilising sales data, you will contribute to the growth of our existing customer base by:

  • Supporting Sales Leads on international deals management, from planning to execution

  • Coordinating with Supply on cross-department initiatives aimed to improve profitability and secure publishers’ collaboration

  • Pulling reports for deals needing support and helping Sales Leads to define the recommended resolutions

  • Contributing to maintaining a regular communication flow between Sales and Demand Partner team

To support in the launch of new initiatives or products:

  • Supporting Sales Management on cross-company sales initiatives, such as collaboration project with NBCUniversal

  • Supporting Business Development in planning and launching new international sales initiatives, such as onboarding resellers, negotiating new sales representation agreements, consolidating data related to Agency Service Agreements

To support in the monitoring, coordination, and optimisation of existing sales processes:

  • Coordinating with Revenue Operation to identify, plan and launch new processes

  • Coordinating with internal departments to prevent and resolve cross-department communication issues

  • Contribute to establish a smooth communication flow between Revenue Operations, Sales Teams, and AdOperations

To support the sales data pipeline:

  • Monitor sales KPIs and coordinate with Sales Management to ensure goals are met

  • Coordinating with Revenue Operation to ensure data alignment

  • Supporting Revenue Operations on revenue dashboard management

Skills and Experience

  • More than 2 years of experience in an analytical role utilising Excel.

  • Strong mathematical skills with the ability to narrate data trends/forecast and mathematical findings.

  • Experience in building reports or creating pivot tables in Excel, or managing data sets.

  • Strong organizational skills and entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to wear many hats and a strong desire to build something great.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a meticulous attention to detail.

  • A strong learning curve and commercial acumen, with the ability to understand a customer’s needs on both the business and technical sides.

  • A passion for customer success and track record of happy, growing customers.

  • Self-motivated with high energy and a willingness to learn and adapt.

  • Experience in technical or analytics research is an advantage but not a strict requirement.

  • Experience in advertising sales, DSP, or participation in a media sales department of a digital company is an advantage but not a strict requirement.

  • International experience and knowledge of one or more EU language would be considered a plus but not a strict requirement.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
