Location/Division Specific Information:

This role is in the Single Use Division and will be performed at our Logan, Utah location.

This is an A Shift (Weekday AM) schedule, rotating every other week. Hours will be 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The first week is Monday through Wednesday and the second week will be Monday through Thursday.

How Will You Make an Impact?:

This role will perform a full range of maintenance and calibration activities on industrial and facilities equipment in a safe manner.

A Day in the Life:

  • Follow safety, cGMP requirements, and standard operating procedures.

  • Participate in Practical Process Improvement and 5S activities.

  • Complete preventative, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance, calibrations, troubleshooting, and installations on new and existing industrial equipment.

  • Perform cleanroom and controlled areas certifications.

  • Repair instrumentation electronics and equipment, design and fabricate parts and small systems.

  • Stay knowledgeable about operation and maintenance procedures for equipment, including calibration.

  • Finalize required paperwork, work orders, inventory requests, and requisitions.

  • Available for on-call or after-hours maintenance activities as needed.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in industrial maintenance.

  • Preferred: Industrial Maintenance Certificate

  • Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Display attention to detail and problem-solving abilities while subject to production schedules.

  • Use hand and power tools associated with industrial maintenance.

  • Proficient in maintenance trades: electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical.

  • Knowledge of common calibrated fields: temperature, humidity, pressure, flow, time, mass, electronic, and dimension measurement calibrations.

  • Work in a fast-paced regulated environment, including overtime when needed.

  • Lift and manipulate up to 40 pounds unassisted.

  • Stand, reach, bend, twist, stoop, push, and grasp while performing tasks.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Work conditions can include: Maintenance shop, lab environment, safety hazards including welding, grinding, electrical work, pressurized equipment, chemicals, dirty/toxic work areas, confined spaces, and noise.

  • Specific gowning is required including wearing gloves, cleanroom shoes/coverings, hair & beard net and face cover, safety glasses with no piercings, jewelry, makeup, fake/painted nails, and the like. The cleanroom is controlled at greater than 30% humidity with a temperature between 60º and 70º. The cleanroom has some ambient noise

  • Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment and understand chemical hygiene including labels and Safety Data Sheets, common chemicals are disinfecting, solvents and Isopropyl Alcohol 70% and 99%.
