We are looking to hire medical assemblers on multiple shifts at their Logan, Utah facility. Employees must be able to stand for their entire 12 hours shift.

These employees will be assembling a large plastic bag, that resembles a large IV bag with valves/chambers in various locations on the device. These bags are sent to companies that are developing vaccines and one of their biggest customers right now is Moderna who have utilized these customizable bags to develop a vaccine for Covd

The plastic bag itself is made by machinery and our employees will be inserting valves and port holes in to the bag by pressing these into the bag. While holding the bag in one hand our employees will dip the valves into a solvent/alcohol mixture to sterilize and then will press into already existing holes to assemble bag to customer specifications. Thermo Fisher makes these bags for a lot of different companies and the bags are customized to their customers specifications.

Biggest requirements are being able to stand for the entirety of the 12 hour shift and completing a very repetitive process. Must be able to read and understand instructions/SOP's in English and have a good attitude.

Thermo Fisher is growing very quickly making there a huge opportunity for advancement in the company. The best new hires are brought on permanently and if they continue to perform well have the opportunity to be promoted in to a lead, supervisor, manager, etc.
