Provides consultation, guidance and support to TogetherTeam and Human Resources Leadership on the effective design, development and implementation of key strategic business initiatives. Oversees, organizes, and communicates initiatives. Provides coordinative support and consultative leadership for short and long term operational activities and projects. Facilitates bringing multiple stakeholders together to help drive decisions. Collaborates and partners with ministry Human Resources (HR) teams in overseeing cross-functional system-wideHR and business related initiatives utilizing process improvement principles and methodologies while embracing the organization’s mission and core values.

POSITION PURPOSE

Provides consultation, guidance and support to TogetherTeam and Human Resources Leadership on the effective design, development and implementation of key strategic business initiatives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Knows, understands, incorporates and demonstrates the mission, vision and values of Trinity Health in leadership behaviors, practices and decisions.

Oversees, coordinates, and provides consultative leadership and support in the effective design, development and implementation of key strategic initiatives. Collaborates and partners with key stakeholders on HR system transformational initiatives and work, e.g., operationalizing process design.

Oversees, coordinates, provides consultative leadership and support for HR initiatives and projects ensuring communications and understanding of key timetables and deliverables are provided to relevant stakeholders. Identifies and monitors project risks and mitigation plans providing support and assistance in achieving project success. Ensures policies, templates and forms are updated and reflect project outcomes. Assists with project budget, cost implications (cost value and actual cost) and return on investment (ROI).

Collaborates, partners and provides assistance to the TogetherTeam, HR Business Partners, and Talent Acquistion teams with the development and implementation of change management and performance/process improvement efforts for system-wide HR initiatives. Ensures appropriate change management methodology, techniques and standards are utilized and effective communications are in place in order to achieve an understanding of operational effectiveness, efficiency and optimum linkages.

Oversees, provides consultative leadership and participates in the development of measures/metrics to evaluate operational effectiveness of TogetherTeam and HR programs, processes, initiatives and services, and the achievement of HR performance targets. Collaborates and partners with others in the analysis and interpretation of project management related data and the development of predictive models for non-standard and trend reporting for decision making.

Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws/regulations; the Trinity Health Integrity and Compliance Program and Code of Conduct; as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR management or related field and a minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years' of progressively more responsible experience in the areas of project management, change management or process improvement in a healthcare system or related customer service-oriented business. Advanced degree preferred (MBA).

Considerable experience and proven record of successful involvement with strategies, business process improvements, functional and operational improvements and business success.

Ability to create solutions for business or process challenges or opportunities. Knowledge of and ability to identify customer needs and performance gaps and recommend/create performance interventions and alignments that achieve desired results.

Proven strategic decision-making capabilities and ability to understand inherent risks and the implications of decisions of all constituents. Project management skills and abilities to lead Human Resource initiatives, provide effective solutions and manage needed resources to accomplish goals and objectives.

Project management skills including the ability to define scope, program, process or project objectives, identify business needs, stakeholders and their interests, plan steps, and provide authoritative direction on coordinating and allocating human, technological and fiscal resources to accomplish goals and objectives in a timely manner.

Demonstrated understanding of strategy development and modification and continuous improvement through process re-design, re-engineering and leading teams to enhance quality and delivery of service. Excellent business process, consultation and design skills.

Strong analytical ability to visualize and assimilate well in a high pressure, unstructured, and fast paced environment. Ability to think creatively and possess foresight and mature professional judgment. Ability to act quickly on new initiatives, anticipate opportunities and develop and implement new and innovative ways to do business. Ability to think strategically and analytically about all Human Resource functions, including impact on overall business and individual customers.

Well-developed project and facilitation skills with the ability to achieve results through others. Experience preparing and supporting those affected by change. Demonstrated skill in coaching and collaborating, ability to inspire and build confidence in others, foster innovation, forge alliances and garner support.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively identify and present ideas, services, assess opportunities, facilitate improvements, and present to all levels of management.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong teams, working relationships and partnerships. Ability to influence results and tactfully manage complex relationships and influences across the organization and to effectively represent the system to varied and diverse internal and external groups. Exhibits strong, collaborative leadership qualities. Ability to understand and effectively utilize new technology and current project management methodologies to meet strategic goals and objectives.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, shared leadership environment and have a proven record of creating high-performing, empowered teams, processes and results.

Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the mission, vision, values and goals of Trinity Health.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Must be able to set and organize own work priorities, and adapt to them as they change frequently. Must be able to work concurrently on a variety of projects in an environment that may be stressful with individuals having diverse personalities and work styles. Ability to concentrate, meet deadlines, work on several projects simultaneously and adapt to interruptions.

Operates in a typical office environment. The area is well-lit, temperature controlled and free from hazards.

Communicates frequently, in person and over the phone, with people in all locations on product support issues. Hearing is needed for extensive telephone and in person communication.

Regularly required to sit for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms. Manual dexterity is needed in order to operate a computer keyboard. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Must be able to adapt to frequently changing work priorities, and be able to prioritize and balance the requirements of working with the System Office and Regional Health Ministries (RHMs).

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and concurrently focus on a variety of complex tasks / projects in an environment that may be stressful with individuals having diverse personalities and work styles.

Must be able to travel as needed.
