Backyard Oasis is an award-winning Pool and Spa Company located in Livingston, TX with an impeccable reputation for high quality and customer satisfaction! Through tremendous growth over the last 40+ years, we have expanded to include retail, maintenance, repair, and construction divisions to handle all our customers needs. We are seeking a full-time Pool Construction Laborer who wants to learn a trade in a fun and exciting industry that offers endless opportunities for advancement. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn and assist with all aspects of pool and spa construction from start to finish
- Learn how to safely operate heavy equipment
- Keep all company equipment clean, maintained, and in good working order
- Perform other projects and duties as directed by management
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Texas drivers license with reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor tasks
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Willingness to learn new things and take on new tasks
- Good Mathematical Skills
- Monday - Friday (Very rare, but occasional weekends)
- Ability to work overtime if needed
PLUSES (But not required)
- Construction experience or knowledge
- Plumbing experience or knowledge
- Electrical experience or knowledge
- Mini Excavator experience
- Backhoe/front-end loader/box blade experience
- Heavy equipment operator experience
- Backing trailers
