Supplier Quality Engineer (90-130K)We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to work for an industry leading manufacturer in the Syracuse, NY area. This is a direct hire opportunity within the Advanced Engineering Group supporting an exciting new product development initiative.Key Duties Include: Develop and implement new component quality processes.Establish supplier quality protocols to ensure manufacturing processes comply with requirements.Investigate, analyze and resolve supplier quality problems.Conduct audits, analyze defect trends and lead continuous improvement projects to eliminate defects and error proof supplier processes.Enact corrective action processes related to any product or customer complaints and determine root cause.Education and Experience:BS in Engineering or related. 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer or Supplier Quality Engineer capacity.Knowledge of PPAP processes and SPC.Problem solving skills (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone).Ability to travel up to 50% to supplier sites.To apply for this position, please send your resume to techjobs@cpsrecruiter.com for confidential consideration.
