Overview
As our Workers Compensation Coordinator at CHI St Vincent, you’ll be a vital part of our Employee Health team, supporting our employees, leaders, and care providers - keeping things running smoothly. Your success in this role stems from your ability to be kind and personable, while still maintaining your work output. You will take calls from employees, managers, etc. with workers comp claims.
You'll do a lot of work in various Google programs: Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Calendar, to name a few. You'll also handle sensitive information, so you know that confidentiality is a must. And while our environment can get very busy at times, you'll stay calm and work through it, knowing the whole team is here to help if you have an issue. You will truly excel in this role if you are friendly and enthusiastic about helping others.

Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor the claim reporting policy and procedures. This includes reporting claims timely to the third party claims administrator.
Trend claims and incidents to identify loss prevention opportunities and initiatives.
Designate and establish a relationship with a medical provider to treat injured employees
Manage the return to work program for injured employees in compliance with the standard Transitional Duty Policy. This includes placement of employees with identified temporary physical restrictions, education of managers regarding the program and communication of employees throughout participation in the return-to-work program.
Serves as the first line of contact for the third party claim administrator, providing information needed by the claims administrator to process and manage the claims.
Maintains OSHA logs in compliance with OSHA regulations, including annual posting requirements and completing annual BLS surveys.
Serve as active participant and/or leader of Employee Safety Initiatives
Qualifications
Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program
Active Licensed Practical Nursing License in Arkansas in good standing with the Arkansas Board of Nursing
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Workers’ Compensation or Human Resources.
Pay Range
$21.80 - $31.62 /hour
