Catholic Health Initiatives Stepdown Nurse in Little Rock, Arkansas
Overview
As our Registered Nurse at CHI St. Vincent in Stepdown Unit, you will help patients transitioning from intensive care achieve optimal health and independence so they can return home safely and confidently.
Every day you will provide direct patient care, including medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and managing complex patient needs. You will be expected to collaborate effectively with physicians, other healthcare providers, and patients and their families.
To be successful in this role, you must possess strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
CHI St Vincent Infirmary is a 600 bed faith-based, non-profit, acute care facility providing quality health care to patients and communities from all over the State of Arkansas. Responsibilities
Checking patients' health status daily and making note of any changes or concerns
Caring for multiple patients throughout the same shift, often varying in age and condition
Monitoring patients with life-saving medical equipment such as IVs, catheters, feeding tubes and ventilators
Providing a comfortable and secure environment for the patient while acting as their advocate
We are offering a sign on bonus up to $25,000 to hires who meet the eligibility requirements. We also offer additional pay for participation in our clinical ladder as well as referral bonuses, excellent benefits, tuition reimbursement and relocation assistance.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse license in good standing, State of Arkansas or compact state license required prior to start date
6 months of acute care experience is required (new graduates or nurses who have never worked in an acute care setting are hired through our residency training program)
Previous step down and/or ICU experience strongly preferred
BLS through the American Heart Association is required
ACLS through the American Heart Association is required

Pay Range
$31.65 - $42.73 /hour
