Summary:

Quality Improvement department. Full-time (40 hours/week) - 2 years of related work experience & Bachelor's degree required. PowerBi, Epic & Cogito experience strongly preferred.

Assists with information management systems utilized for Quality Improvement activities. Maintains knowledge and assists with the management of the Pediatric Hospital Information System (PHIIS) database and other hospital data sources. Assists with developing internal databases for departments and for hospital-wide QI activities, analyzes data and develops presentations and reports. Serves as a resource and support for QI staff in the use of information systems.

Description

1. Assists with planning, directing, organizing, and controlling the use of application software including assisting in selecting, implementing, maintaining, and training.

2. Provides data to be used to analyze clinical practice patterns for quality improvement projects.

3. Works with departments to design database and QI reports.

4. Responsible for data entry.

5. Assists with providing education and consultation to teams through in-services, individual and/or group sessions, and just in time facilitation skills.

6. Performs other duties as assigned.
