Hazardous Materials Technician

Job Summary
The Hazardous Materials Technician is responsible for the safe and effective management of hazardous materials. This includes responding to spills and releases, conducting remediation at hazardous waste sites, and transporting hazardous materials. The HazMat Technician must have a thorough understanding of hazardous materials regulations and procedures.
Responsibilities
Respond to hazardous materials spills and releases.
Conduct remediation at hazardous waste sites.
Transport hazardous materials.
Develop and implement hazardous materials management plans.
Train and supervise other HazMat personnel.
Maintain and inspect hazardous materials equipment.
Conduct laboratory analysis of hazardous materials.
Prepare and maintain hazardous materials records.
Requirements
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must be able to pass a drug screening.
Must have a valid Arkansas Drivers license.
