Position Overview: The Production Team Member role entails assisting in supporting a production line, packaging, and/or ingredient blending equipment. The Production Team Member is responsible for assisting the Machine Operator and/or Assistant Machine Operator in ensuring efficient and safe machine operation, producing high quality product and finish product packaging, inspecting equipment and possibly performing preventative maintenance; completing paperwork and data entry; cross-training on other machine operation duties; and assisting in providing training or direction to other production line employees. The Production Team Member may also act as an Assistant Machine Operator from time to time. Responsibilities: Keep production area clean and orderly Packaging product Palletizing finished goods Visually inspect product and packaging Move material and supplies to and from production area Ensure accurate counts Add materials to manufacturing equipment Sorting and performing rework Responsible for following food safety/quality/regulatory policies and procedures, executing responsibilities as identified in standard operating procedures, and reporting food safety/quality/regulatory concerns to the Production or Quality Manager Qualifications: Food processing or packaging experience preferred Understanding of food safety, workplace safety, and food quality standards is strongly preferred Self-directed and...
