General Summary:

Qualcomm performs global data collection to enable development and verification of state-of-the-art ADAS functions for the Automotive industry. Your part of this will be how to manage all this data that is recorded including data enhancement. You will be part of an international organization which among other things also includes simulation, data enrichment, visualization services and data analytics. Our goal is to design and build a highly scalable, efficient, and modular data platform. This platform will be used by engineers to run re-simulation pipelines, machine learning workloads, perform in-depth data analysis/analytics, visualize results, and more.

Job Description

You will be part of an experienced SW development team located in Linköping with the possibility of partly working from remote. As a member of the team, you will cooperate on the following:

• Develop a scalable service capable to ingest of large amounts of data on a daily basis

• Create solutions working both for cloud and on-prem demands

• Ensure that we can provide end-user interfaces matching our stakeholders needs

• Interact and cooperate with teams that are using and/or operating our services

• Analyze user needs and software requirements to design and customize software for optimal operational efficiency

• Write technical documentation

• Demonstrate and develop POCs to test out new ideas

Your Profile

• Software Development:

• You have a robust software development background, complemented by expertise in system design and architecture.

• Domain knowledge:

• Experience in data centric areas such as data management, data analytics, data governance, cloud environments etc.

• Experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications in AWS

• Experience with building data pipelines on cloud.

• Language and Tools:

• Python

• Databases (both SQL and NoSQL)

• Experience with containerized platforms like docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with building orchestrations and workflow management tools such as Airflow, Prefect, Argo or Cloud native technologies like AWS Batch, Azure Data factory.

• Other skills

• As a person we see that you are a quick learner and like embracing new technologies

• Easily can work on and understand large codebases

• You are fluent in English and preferably Swedish

• You are able to work both individually and with others

• Education and Experience:

• A Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Engineering (D, E, F, Y, or related field).

• 3 years of experience in software development within the industry.
