Job Title: Aircraft Technician

Job Description

The Aircraft Technician, with limited supervision, is responsible for testing, adjusting, repairing, and performing other maintenance tasks on various airframe systems and components. This role ensures all tasks are completed according to manufacturer’s specifications, approved procedures, and customer specifications while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The technician also prepares and completes necessary documentation in a timely manner, assists in high-quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance using proper tools, and accurately orders aircraft parts. Additionally, the role involves minor troubleshooting, function testing, and repair of aircraft systems and components, as well as meticulous record keeping as required by company policy and FAA regulations.

Hard Skills

  • Aircraft Maintenance - Either 4 plus years of Military aircraft maintenance experience if no A&P license.

  • Will look at candidates with less than 4 years if they have the A&P sign offs.

  • A&P Certification is needed if no prior experience.

Soft Skills

  • Proficiency in Documentation and Record Keeping

  • Ability to Work with Limited Supervision

  • Time Management

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Work Environment

The work environment is a temperature-controlled hangar with heated floors during winter. Work shifts available include: 1st shift (6:00am - 4:00pm, Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday), 2nd shift (2:00pm - 12:00am, Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday), and Weekend shift (Friday-Sunday, 3 twelve-hour shifts with a 10% shift differential). Pay ranges from $24/hr to $45/hr based on experience level, with per diem options available for qualified candidates.
