Growing manufacturer in Northeastern Kansas City is seeking an Industrial Engineer to add to their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing. AutoCAD and Inventor experience required, as well as the ability to design and implement electromechanical assembly and test processes.

All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the mechanical design team to incorporate design for manufacturability

• Design and implement electro-mechanical assembly and test processes

• Lead facilities development, floor layout, headcount requirements, and material flow definition as well as prototype builds

• Ensure manufacturing systems can hit high volume rate

• Identify automation opportunities and establish requirements as well as evaluate return on investment

• Identify tooling and hardware requirements, design and implement them into production processes

Requirements:

• B.S. in Engineering

• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience

• Proven experience working in a high-volume, highly adaptive manufacturing environment

• Ability to design tooling and fixtures and transition products from design to manufacturing and scaling to high-volume

• Experience implementing automation into production processes

• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Inventor

• Experience defining requirements for ERP, MRP and MES systems

• Previous experience with UL certification a plus
