Tasks of Position The following are core and essential responsibilities of this position. Associates are responsible for completing any and all duties assigned as required for the successful operation of our business. All associates are required to perform their job duties in a manner which upholds the integrity and honesty of our company. Reporting for assigned shifts on time, and on a regular basis, capable of communicating clearly and demonstrating suitable physical abilities to safety perform assigned tasks and duties, prepared to provide excellent service and leadership. Promoting sales and exceptional guest experience through e-commerce. Focusing on quality control and accuracy of the shopping site. Understanding and capable of performing the following: editing products on the site by using Product Editor, looking up product UPCs, renaming products, requesting images, activating missing products, deactivating unwanted products, changing random weight settings, removing a category association. Monitoring weekly ad flyer on active date to ensure all ad items/retails have been relayed correctly. Verifying Fresh Friday and Fresh Board ads to ensure all items/retails have been relayed correctly, paying particular attention to fresh perimeter items. Developing and maintaining a schedule to inspect all program product categories to identify areas improvement including image, spelling error, odd categorization, clear and accurate pricing. Maintaining clean and organized E-Commerce workspaces including holding areas for dry, refrigerated, and frozen orders, parking spaces, and E-Commerce workstation. Mentoring new associates or associates who are new to the department or task and assuring a positive learning environment. Communicating and completing guests' special order requests with accuracy and timeliness. Finding a way to make our guests happy. Ensuring all work performed in the department is completed in accordance with all local, state, federal and company rules, regulations, and policies regarding workplace safety, food handling safety, and guest services. Participating actively in the Grocery Department's accident reduction plan including: cleaning floors, sanitizing, and recognizing shelf order, safety features of all machinery, store evacuation plan, robbery policy, case temperatures, and storing regulations.
