Compensation for the Custodial Worker

 

  • $18 -- $21 Per Hour DOE
  • Swing Shift: Monday -- Friday, start and end times to be determined
  • Full benefits are available upon hire including Medical, HRA, Dental, Vision, Life, Short-Term Disability, 401K, bonus eligibility, subsidized bus passes, fitness center, and more!

     

Responsibilities for the Custodial Worker

 

  • Promote teamwork through behavior, act in accordance with policies, and adhere to the goals and expectations defined by management
  • Maintain a clean and orderly building
  • Perform routine cleaning and heavy-duty maintenance tasks
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies
  • Safely handle, mix, and label cleaning products
  • Ensure a safe work environment by removing oil and other materials from the work areas
  • Organize work areas and properly label all containers
  • Complete tasks to the satisfaction of the building superintendent
  • Demonstrate safe work practices

     

Requirements for the Custodial Worker

 

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous custodial experience
  • Full knowledge of floor machine operations and basic maintenance
  • Reliable, strong work ethic, ability to work independently, self-motivated with the aptitude to motivate those around you through action and behavior
  • Physical requirements: Ability to lift 25 lbs., stand and walk for long hours, and handle strong chemicals
