Required License/Registration/CertificationAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and High Risk Certification
Physical RequirementsThis position will require some lifting of objects up to 50lbs.
ShiftThis position is mostly M-F with occasional overtime due to travel. Rarely will this position require evening/holiday hours.
Job SummaryThe Rad Tech Master Clinic/Ultrasound/UKHC will perform diagnostic procedures per protocols and maintain and respect patient privacy and confidentiality.
Patient care duties for this position include: fetal biometry, anatomic assessment, fetal biophysical assessment, doppler studies and assistance with invasive intrauterine procedures and gynecologic ultrasound/procedures.
The Radiology Technician will occasionally participate in Outreach Ultrasound Clinics across the state of Kentucky and involves significant travel time with a mileage reimbursement program. The focus area for this position is Southeastern Kentucky.
