Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the construction/contractor industry in Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky. The role involves managing accounts payable tasks, as well as interacting with vendors. The individual will be expected to handle the company's ERP system efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Coding and processing invoices in a timely manner.

• Working with statements to ensure accurate financial records.

• Consistently liaising with vendors to maintain good relationships and ensure timely payments.

• Utilizing the company's ERP system for data entry and other related tasks.

• Adhering to company policies and procedures related to accounts payable.

• Ensuring accurate account reconciliation.

• Conducting check runs to verify payment details.

• Assisting in the development of efficient invoice processing systems.

• Utilizing software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks.

• Taking on other related duties and tasks as required. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) management

• Skills in executing Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Proficient in Data Entry tasks

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and data management

• Familiarity with Oracle for database management

• Proficiency in QuickBooks for accounting and financial management

• Familiarity with SAP for business operations and customer relations

• Ability to work in a construction or contractor industry environment

• Ability to communicate effectively with other departments and external vendors

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
