Infinite Electronics International, Inc Facilities Supervisor in Lewisville, Texas

Position Description:

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and grounds. They will maintain compliance and with all procedures, policies and regulation and promptly respond to regulatory issues and inspection findings. This Facilities Supervisor will collaborate to develop facilities’ organizational structure to accommodate growth and determine needs for equipment leases, purchases, and services. They play a critical role in the day-to-day maintenance of four buildings and function as liaison between leasing and property management company.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the completion of requests to perform corrective maintenance and repair activities involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other systems and equipment

  • Develop plans for preventative maintenance to building facilities, systems and equipment per Infinite Electronics internal requirements and the property management lease requirements.

  • Indirect management of processes with other internal team members

  • Manage the Facilities team in selecting and hiring outside vendors (i.e., General contractors, subcontractors, Suppliers, and vendors) adhering to deadlines, managing progress, and reporting project status to management.

  • Assist with vendor selection for janitorial, trash and recycling services and activities at each facility

  • Partner with Ops leadership in space planning activities in support of business requirements and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment

  • Conduct risk assessments on facility processes and equipment and recommend appropriate controls when hazards are found

  • Maintain the facilities standards in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and ensure adherence to municipal permits and certification requirements

  • Actively participate in facilities-related projects and initiatives in collaboration with Operations, EHS, IT and other departments

  • Partner with the EHS Team in the investigation of key accident events to determine root cause, including development of prevention strategies to prevent reoccurrence

  • Own facility-related aspects of occupational safety and environmental regulations and compliance strategies and initiatives in coordination with the EHS Team

  • Contribute to Infinite Electronics business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives from the facilities perspective

  • Implement, monitor, and maintain Infinite Electronics Workplace 2.0 working environment initiatives

  • Create and maintain facility layout (to include as built drawings and plot plans) and drawings via CAD tools

  • Oversee the maintenance of facilities-related equipment and assets including company vehicles and POV’s for assigned locations

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with facilities team, EHS, operations, and other departments to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

  • Supervise and provide day-to-day direction to local facilities personnel, including internal employees and external contractors

  • Provide other assistance to facilities as directed

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of applicable codes, laws, and regulations; including environmental, regulatory, and safety regulations.

  • Ability to provide engineering and maintenance support for facilities.

  • Proven ability to work in self-directed environment while participating in an effective team atmosphere.

  • Working knowledge of facilities operations and procedures.

  • Proficient in interpreting and comprehending building blueprints and floor plan layouts

Education and/or Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant facilities/maintenance experience required

  • Experience working in manufacturing or distribution center

  • CAD tool experience with drawings preferred

  • Experience working with property management and leasing companies preferred

Physical Job Requirements:

  • Vision: Will work consistently on a computer throughout the day and must be able to read/respond to emails, review contracts, and manage online systems. Must be able to visually monitor equipment.

  • Walking: Will walk through the buildings on a constant basis checking spacing, monitoring equipment, and checking for building issues.

  • Lifting/Carrying: Will frequently move equipment/furniture that weighs up to 50lbs

  • Hand Dexterity: Will perform and assist various maintenance tasks including building maintenance that requires use of hands

  • Climbing: Will frequently climb up/down ladders to get to equipment and on roof of facility.

  • Communication: Will constantly communicate verbally to employees, vendors, and contractors. Will also communicate in written methods through email, letters, and presentations.

  • Travel: Must be able to drive between four buildings on a consistent basis

Environment: Role is 100% onsite and will be in warehouse areas.
