Antech Diagnostics Technical Writer in Leverkusen, Germany

Job Requirements

Antech Diagnostics are looking for a Technical Writer to support continued growth within the business. You will be responsible for creating technical documents and SOPs across our reference laboratories in Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global business and support our mission to create A Better World For Pets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Plan, develop, organise, write, and edit Standard Operating Procedures

  • Work with internal teams to understand product documentation requirements.

  • Coordinate the process of gathering necessary information and updates from department heads to translate into SOP content.

  • Complete a list of updates for established SOPs and continuously update as new needs arise.

  • Collaborate with training to post SOPs to the Antech Unleashed portal for compliance.

  • Test programming changes and coordinate the implementation to ensure the programming has been completed and coincides with the SOP release.

  • Research, develop and document technical design specifications and test scripts.

  • Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation.

  • Analyse documents to maintain continuity of style of content.

  • Handle SOP related PRs/UC requests and troubleshoot for for IT.

  • Project work stemming from SOP implementation.

Work Experience

  • Degree level qualification in Medical Technology or applicable field.

  • Proven experience working in a technical writing role.

  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences.

  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively and meet deadlines.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention-to-detail

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Occasional travel may be needed.

  • Must be fluent in English and proficient in German.

  • French, Italian and Spanish speaking skills preferred.
