As Development Manager, you will be the leader of the Stratus Imaging Analytics team. The Stratus Imaging Analytics team is focused on building our Analytics solution for our Enterprise Imaging portfolio.

The team is based in mainly in Ireland, with some resource in Canada. The products has customers in Europe, Canada, and the United States. You will be responsible for leading the team that is focused on the development of a solution integrating with multiple data sources (on-premise and Cloud) for Radiology and Cardiology.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Drive your team towards timely execution often with competing priorities. Work through technical needs vs. new feature requirements and be a key contributor in defining the product roadmap.

• Work in collaboration with Product Management partner to lead success of team and product.

• Own the release for the products you lead – your product ships when the customers are realizing its value.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies.

• Mentor and motivate direct reports towards their career goals and actively develop your team’s skillset and put together a deep bench through proactive conversations, goal setting, and performance evaluations.

• Hold teams to high standards in writing quality scalable and supportable code, complete with appropriate unit tests, automated testing, documentation, and operationalization aspects in a CI/CD environment.

• Provide support to functions outside of Product Development: Sales, Support and Service

• Lead by example and use your technical expertise and perspective to drive innovation

• Collaborate with Architecture, Data Science and Business Intelligence leaders to design and implement a secure, compliant, and scalable data infrastructure to support the organization’s growing data needs.

• Identify, design, and champion process improvements throughout the processing lifecycle for:

o Data quality initiatives ensuring data integrity

o Data encryption

o Data de-identification to ensure data security

o Role-based data access

o Automating manual processes

o Optimizing data delivery

o Tuning and optimizing data processes for greater scalability, etc.

Required Qualifications:

• MS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, other technology fields, or equivalent experience.

• Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing data engineering teams.

• Solid experience in data engineering leadership roles, preferably within the healthcare industry

• Strong Experience working in projects with agile/scrum methodologies

• Experience in building complex, highly scalable, performant, secure and reliable software systems

• Experience in Cloud-native design, principles and best practices.

• Solid experience in data architecture, data modeling, data warehousing, and big data technologies.

• Proficiency with AWS, GCP or Azure

• Sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills

• Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment.

• Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)

• Strong influencing, persuasion and negotiation skills, including conflict resolution.

• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare industry knowledge and experience

• Experience with healthcare related data privacy regulations such as HIPAA, DPA, GDPR

• Data engineering certifications

• Data virtualization tools and technology experience with tools like such Tibco Spotfire, Tableau, Python Dash, R-shiny, etc

• ML and/or AI model development and deployment

• Prior experience leading teams

• Prior experience working with global teams
