Pennsylvania Homecare Association Caregiver Support Manager in Lemoyne, Pennsylvania

About The Pennsylvania Homecare Association (PHA): PHA is a statewide organization of 700+ home health, home care and hospice agencies looking to hire! PHA is posting this opening on behalf of their member organization, RubyWell.

What You'll Do as Regional Caregiver Support Manager:

You'll join a small but mighty team of passionate experts in the health tech, Medicare, and caregiving spaces who deeply respect and value the work of our country's 53 million unpaid family caregivers. We've established relationships with a cohort of caregivers that we are in the process of training to become Home Health Aides and who are early testers of the RubyWell caregiving platform. So far, our outreach has been limited to the state of Pennsylvania as our initial launch state. Now we need help bringing our offering to caregivers across the Northeastern US, guiding them through eligibility reviews, application submission, training them on our RubyWell platform, and supporting Home Health Agencies (HHA) as they onboard the caregiver and care recipient, and initiate care to this new customer base.

Reporting to the COO, you will:

  • Source and cultivate new family caregivers: Working with the HHA sales lead and marketing team, you will help RubyWell develop a highly efficient recruitment funnel that identifies family caregivers who believe they are caring for an eligible candidate, and guides them through the program eligibility and application process.
  • *Manage training partnerships: *Work with and manage the RubyWell training partners that will take the caregivers through the required online and in-person training and certification requirements per state.
  • Assign and manage caregiver training: Coordinate caregivers and RubyWell's training partners in each state and ensure the training requirements are met from initiation to certification so that each caregiver who enrolls has the best possible chance of completing coursework and being hired by an agency.
  • Develop and manage the Home Health Agency onboarding processes: Partner with RubyWell's Home Health Agency (HHA) partners to define, document and manage the interview and hiring processes for the family caregivers (trained as Home Health Aides). Work with the product team to automate this process.
  • *Optimize Caregiver Success tools and processes: *Be the subject matter expert on all caregiver success tools (HubSpot) and processes for the RubyWell team. Identify new 3rd-party products and features to optimize the onboarding experience for family caregivers (trained as Home Health Aides) and HHAs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with the HHA sales lead, marketing, product, and operations teams to align messaging, refine caregiver recruitment strategies, optimize caregiver to HHA onboarding, gather product feedback, feature requests, and concerns, and ensure seamless handoff and support of Home Health Aides from sales team through to revenue obtainment.
  • Provide emotional and practical support -- Answer questions, troubleshoot challenges, and offer encouragement to caregivers as they navigate eligibility, training, and transitioning into professional roles. This will require regular caregiver communications through text messaging and phone calls and the need to build professionally supportive relationships with many of the caregivers along the way.
  • Leverage workforce development programs -- Work with associations and other partners to identify and access state and federal funding opportunities that support caregiver training and employment.
  • Develop educational resources -- Help create FAQs, guides, and other materials to support caregivers as they complete their training and certification.
