Service Technician

Job Description

This position involves installing monitors directly to systems that provide CO2 gas to restaurants, gas stations, and various other clients in Illinois. The installation process is straightforward, using CAT 5 cabling. The technician will keep track of serial numbers of all customer tickets and monitors. This role requires organization and people skills, as it involves daily face-to-face customer interactions. Candidates must be able to climb ladders, use power tools, and service existing systems. The position is service-based, with multiple stops per day, starting and ending at the shop in Lemont.

Responsibilities

• Install monitors using CAT 5 cabling

• Keep track of serial numbers for customer tickets and monitors

• Climb ladders and use power tools

• Service existing systems

• Perform daily face-to-face interactions with customers

• Drive to multiple locations using personal vehicle

• Report to the shop in Lemont at the start and end of each shift

Essential Skills

• Experience with power tools, cable installation, and mechanical aptitude

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair systems

• Experience with hand tools and blueprint reading

• Field service experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with conduits and wiring

• Basic hand tools ownership

• Potential backgrounds: Comcast/Xfinity, electronics (gaming industry techs), Geek Squad from BestBuy

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
