We are expanding due to continued growth, and we are looking for the next Large Corporate Employee Benefits Consultant to join our team!

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually from home and from one of our offices in either Leeds, Manchester, or Edinburgh.

What the day will look like

As an Employee Benefits Consultant, you will be primarily responsible for the retention and development of an established portfolio of clients and providing expert consulting advice to ensure service meets clients’ needs.

  • Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, providing them with expert advice regarding on their Group Risk and benefits.

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients to enhance service delivery, ensure renewal and retention of existing accounts, and identify new business opportunities.

  • Undertake reviews of clients’ employee benefits requirements, documenting and analysing the results, together with making recommendations for enhancement or the provision of services by Aon

  • Identify revenue generation opportunities for existing clients & work in conjunction with the wider Aon teams to expand our services, enhancing the overall relationships, both internally & externally

  • Be responsible for the profitability of your clients by ensuring that current revenue is sufficient to deliver work expected by the client.

  • Grow revenue on your existing portfolio in accordance with business targets.

  • Achieve technical competency as required; maintain appropriate technical knowledge through relevant reading, events and provider training.

  • Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

    In this role you will have the opportunity to work with an existing portfolio of clients as well as supporting the Sales Team with new business opportunities. You will work collaboratively with our extensive internal network of strategic leaders, brokers and client service delivery teams.

    You will be joining a supportive team of consultants with an extensive knowledge base, who strive to provide Large and Medium sized clients with a tailored service.

    You will have the opportunity to lend your expertise to one of our many internal intercompany project teams, which will enhance your internal network and provide development opportunities.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Experience within the Large Corporate Group Risk Market is essential.

  • The successful applicant will have a proven track record of effective client facing behaviours

  • Good interpersonal skills to deploy on both the internal and external client teams

  • A commercial mind, supported by effective planning of pipeline opportunities

  • A self-motivating desire to improve Aon IQ to help drive further opportunities
