VIA (3D Visualisation, Immersion, Applications) is a small, agile group located across the UK business involved with external work for clients of all different sizes, from national governments to lighting installation artists alongside internal projects of international standing and business development support relating to the latest industry trends and topics.

The team provides a broad set of services such as traditional 3D Visualisation activities (static and animated) as well as Experiential Interactives using the latest XR technologies, Photography and Motion Design.

The candidate will report to the Visualisation Lead (Property & Buildings UK) and duties be two pronged, 1) involved in the production of visualisation content for our clients day-to-day where required and 2) act as the main source of business development opportunities and client relationships, representing the team in b2b meetings, conferences and events to develop a strong pipeline of work.

The work can range from public consultation photomontages for Local Authorities to 4D visualisations of international airport projects, as well as general CG content and immersive experiences to support the exposure of key marketing themes.

The post holder will have a high degree of independence and must be able to manage their own workload. They will be highly motivated, confident and outgoing, both working independently and as part of a team. Prospective candidates will have a background in the production of 3D visualisations to a basic level, preferably within the AEC sector and be willing to travel to suit requirements. A passion for visual culture and awareness of the 3D Visualisation industry is a must alongside keeping up to date with the latest emerging technologies and trends.

A typical week would include:

  • Build relationships with clients and undertake business development activities (meetings, events, conferences, marketing opportunities) to lead and secure new work.

  • Contribute to the development of new services within the VIA and Digital Services teams.

  • Support other teams and disciplines with the visual aspects of their marketing and business development projects.

  • Personal development and research of emerging technologies to be implemented on projects.

  • Support rest of team in day-to-day duties as required.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • A clear understanding of the use of visualisation in the AEC industry.

  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects while maintaining a deadline focus. _ _

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, especially to generate rapport with prospective clients and industry figures.

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise.

  • A passion for quality and continuous improvement.

  • Core 3D Visualisation skills including 3D modelling, texturing, lighting, basic animation, photography, and composition skills.

  • Experience using 3DS Max, Unreal Engine or Unity, V-Ray or Corona, Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office to a competent level as minimum.

  • Experience in the development of Real-Time and Extended Reality projects as desirable.

  • A PDF portfolio of or a link to your visual work as evidence of experience, applications will not be considered without this.
