Sanitation Lead

Job Description

As a Sanitation Lead, you will supervise nightly operations of the sanitation department, both contract and in-house. Your responsibilities include conducting sanitation audits, monitoring chemical and water usage, and coordinating sanitation maintenance schedules. You will also trend data on pre-operational deficiencies, collaborate with supervisors to develop systems, and maintain cleaning equipment. Training and supervising new team members, acting as a liaison with third-party sanitation services, and implementing best practices for improved processes and efficiency are key aspects of this role. Additionally, you will be responsible for facility shutdown procedures, including checking doors and managing air units and water sources.

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

Mandatory overtime hours including some weekends and occasional holidays may be required. Working conditions will include extended periods in cold and wet meat processing or packaging environments requiring the use of protective clothing.
