Dartmouth Health Outpatient Surgery Center Surgical Technologist II in Lebanon, New Hampshire

Overview

Acts as a member of the surgical team who primarily functions in a scrubbing capacity. May assist in circulating duties in the surgical suite.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains aseptic technique while providing a quiet environment in the OR suite, respecting the dignity and privacy of the

  • Shares in OR suite Uses and maintains specialized equipment and supplies used for speci?c surgical procedures.

  • Anticipates the needs of the surgeon to expedite the

  • Utilizes surgical instruments and knowledge of the step-by-step sequences for surgical

  • Assumes shared responsibility for proper handling of surgical

  • Assists in training and orientation of new

  • Follows CMS conditions of

  • Participates in room turn over and assists in Central Sterile rform other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

  • A graduate of an approved school of surgical technology or program accepted by the Association of Surgical Technologists

Required Licensure/Certifications

  • National certification as a surgical technician

  • BLS Certification

  • Currently Registered with the New Hampshire Board of Registration for Medical Technicians

  • Area of Interest:Allied Health;

  • FTE/Hours per pay period:1.00 - 1.00 - 40 hrs/week;

  • Shift:Day;
