Actalent Registered Nurse in Leawood, Kansas

Registered Nurse

As a Registered Nurse Case Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs, setting goals, and coordinating discharge planning.

  • Ensuring accurate, concise, and timely documentation in patients’ medical records.

  • Interacting with patients, families, physicians, and vendors in a professional and caring manner.

  • Communicating pertinent observations and patient reactions to the appropriate staff (Physicians/Director of Surgery).

  • Accurately documenting care provided and procedures performed in patient records.

  • Actively participating in Quality Improvement initiatives through staff meetings, nursing committees, and the Quality Improvement Plan.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • KS RN License

  • Current BLS certification

  • 1-2 years of experience in Ambulatory or Acute Care

  • ACLS certification (within six months of hire date if not already certified)

Work Environment:

  • Nurse to Patient ratio: 1:3

  • Shift: Night Shift (3 12-hour shifts)

  • Hours: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
