Overview:

We are looking for a high energy, motivated and persistent individual with a strong entrepreneurial spirit to join our Sales team on a contract basis. The Sales consultant is a highly interactive sales opportunity, where your time will be spent on business development via outbound calling and prospecting efforts with current customers for payment processing with the goal of increasing revenue. The ideal candidate is self-directed, self-motivated, and has a strong understanding of closing techniques and sales processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound calls to current customers to generate leads and promote payment processing services.

  • Utilize cold calling techniques to self-source leads from current Sage customers.

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of closing techniques and sales processes to effectively convert leads into sales.

  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.

  • Meet and exceed sales quotas as defined by your Supervisor.

  • Utilize CRM systems and practices, such as Salesforce, to track and manage client prospecting activities.

  • Follow company processes, exhibit strong follow-through on tasks, and effectively manage time and responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 yrs. experience in the merchant services/payment processing business.

  • Ability to self-source leads through cold calling current Sage customers.

  • Motivated self-starter with effective time management skills.

  • Ability to effectively manage client prospecting and the sales cycle.

  • Meet and exceed sales quotas as defined by Supervisor.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices (e.g. Salesforce)

  • Experience following processes, exhibiting strong follow-through on tasks, managing time and responsibilities.
