Job Title: Electrician

Job Description

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for installing and wiring up PLC cabinets and wiring for hydroelectric generators. The ideal candidate should have their own tools and experience with electrical wiring, PLC installations, and generator wiring.

Responsibilities

  • Install and wire PLC cabinets.

  • Perform electrical wiring for hydroelectric generators.

  • Work with 480v, AC/DC systems, and VFDs.

  • Install and align sensors and controls.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Essential Skills

  • Electrical wiring

  • PLC installation

  • Experience with PLC cabinets

  • Understanding of 480v systems

  • Knowledge of AC/DC systems

  • Generator wiring expertise

  • Proficiency with VFDs and sensors

  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience as an industrial electrician

  • Knowledge of refrigeration systems

  • Familiarity with ammonia systems

  • Relevant certifications or qualifications

Work Environment

This is an industrial work environment that is not climate controlled. The standard shift is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
