Minimum Qualifications: HS Diploma or GED. Must be able to read, write and understand written and verbal communication. Basic Computer skills. Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas: Consistently demonstrates required duties when providing patient care as evidenced by:
- Accurately identifying normal and abnormal EKG rhythm strips.
- Notifying nursing personnel of EKG changes.
- Notifying appropriate nursing personnel of patient requests.
- Remain composed, reassuring and able to provide direction during emergency situations, STAT requests and orders: functioning as a calming influence and stable factor on the nursing unit.
