JOB SUMMARY:Position is responsible for the overall management of Smashburger & Pin-Up Pizza. The restaurant manager will be responsible for overseeing all phases of the rooms operations including but not limited to financial management, employee engagement, customer service and health code compliance.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Manages the day-to-day front of house operations of assigned outlets, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Establishes and administers training programs for the restaurant. Counsels, guides, and instructs assigned personnel in the proper performance of their duties.
  • Upholds and maintains high levels of customer service standards as measured by the companys Total Service program.
  • Directs the development and administration of controls for all phases of the above-mentioned operations in an economical and profitable manner, while maintaining established standards.
  • Coordinates the maintenance and development of methods for quality preparation of food and monitors appearance of food served; assists in the maintenance and development of procedures for food services and menu items for maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Manages the annual budgets. Submits proposals for capital expense projects and manages cost of approved projects to completion.
  • Maintains an efficient program of scheduling to ensure a high standard of food service with the use of minimum man-hours.
  • Instructs assigned personnel regarding safety policies and procedures. Assures that any hazards within the restaurant are eliminated.
  • Prepares and presents periodic performance reviews for assigned personnel.
  • Recommends changes including hiring, promotion, demotion, and termination of assigned employees.
  • Recommends wage and salary adjustments for personnel within Wage and Salary Guidelines
