JOB SUMMARY:This is a customer contact position that is responsible for ensuring that each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, every time, maintaining outstanding standards set by Harrahs and Smashburger with solid product knowledge and can demonstrate the consistent delivery of our service standards.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:Greet and acknowledge every guest with a smile. Be aware of all menu items-make suggestions and the ability to answer questions. Process POS transactions in a timely manner and accurately following cash handling procedures. Keep floors, counters and dining room clean (table manicure, trash receptacles, mopping floors etc.) at all times. Deliver food to guests using the service behavior standards. Perform table touches to assure guests have everything they need (refills, condiments, etc.) and that their experience has been exceptional. Foster a safe work environment and procedures as outlined by Harrahs Laughlin and Smashburger. Must understand MSDS. Answer phones using excellent telephone etiquette; communicate clearly and effectively with guest, co-workers and supervisor; work in an environment with fluctuating business levels; respond to visual and oral direction; demonstrate the willingness to be a team player; work a fluctuating schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays; help other outlets as managements deems necessary.
