Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our client’s trust accounting team. This role will assist with beneficiary transactions, general ledger postings, reconciliations, and ACH deposits. The Junior Accountant will collaborate with the accounting team on daily disbursements, audits, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile monthly beneficiary accounts and post to the general ledger

• Support ACH deposit processing and daily transaction reporting

• Maintain stop payment and check verification logs

• Assist with credit card reconciliations and audit preparation

• Prepare sub-trust activity reports and download bank statements

• Provide general accounting support as needed

  Requirements

Requirements:

• A.A.S. in Accounting (or 3+ years of equivalent experience)

• 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred

• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
