Job Summary

As a key member of the Stadium Protection & Response Management Team, efforts are made to achieve and maintain the highest level of quality in all aspects of security work. The Stadium Protection & Response Manager is responsible for the management of the security services for both the facility and events at Allegiant Stadium. oversees all daily and event parking operations on campus. The incumbent will also manage the relationship with the 3rd party parking contractor.

Essential Functions

  • Ensure the delivering of exceptional customer service and public relations

  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures for contracted security personnel

  • Liaison with 24/7 security provider at Allegiant Stadium and property to administer security measures and provide operational support, ensuring a safe environment for visitors, fans, and employees.

  • Help train, coach, motivate, and provide performance evaluations for managerial staff personnel which report into the department.

  • Assist in the preparation and management of the department’s operating budget and contribute any capital expense requests.

  • Administer security procedures and provide operational support, ensuring for a safe environment for our fans.

  • Liaise with Human Resources to ensure company-wide compliance with all H&S guidelines and policies

  • Ensure effective management of incidents and tracking accurate records and reporting procedures

  • Ensure security measures comply with State, Federal and league requirements

  • Develop effective working relationships with local agencies including Metro Police, Fire Departments and EMS

  • Ensures the quality and accuracy of all logs and incident reports generated at the site; and creates and implements post orders for the security team on site.

  • Provide quality assurance on parking contractor operations.

  • Oversee reporting of revenues, efficiency, and inventory.

  • Facilitate planning for all events on campus and their parking needs.

  • Manage the parking needs of all departments.

  • Monitor and audit the parking operations via parking control equipment.

  • Address and resolve all issues for Executives, VIPs, and special guest.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum education level of a BA/BS Degree (4-year) in related field

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in event security preferably in hospitality/professional sports/facility management industry

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Previous effective leadership experience and managerial roles

  • Proven ability to lead, understand and communicate effectively

  • Proactive approach toward day-to-day activities and event planning

  • Ability to enhance and lead a positive and encouraging work environment

  • Skilled at building positive, professional relationships both internal and external partners.

  • Proven to perform well under pressure; including strong ability to multitasking.

  • Experience with innovative optimization of leading performance standards for Security processes.

  • Ability to work within a team and independently.

  • Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act

  • Available to work evenings and weekends and holidays if needed

  • Ability to see the big picture and strategize accordingly

  • Great character, team building and a team player who can motivate and influence a team

  • Ability to meet deadlines and over deliver of expectations

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and act with diplomacy and discretion

  • Thorough knowledge of CCTV, fire alarm systems, computerized access control systems, and wireless radio communication

  • Maintain an effective employee & visitor photo ID & credential program.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a sports or entertainment venue.

  • Experience with parking control equipment, including the integration, auditing, and repair & maintenance of such equipment.
