Desert Parkway Behavioral Healthcare Hospital Patient Engagement Coordinator in Las Vegas, Nevada
This position is responsible for promoting and maintaining positive relations with Desert Parkway internal and external customers. Responsibilities include: assisting admitted patients with completing the Videra survey and the CMS Psychiatric Inpatient Experience Survey (PIX) to discharging patients. When needed, assists with patient advocacy, patient, and patient family complaint/resolution, interacting with physicians and staff in identifying and resolving issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Assists admitted inpatient patients with completing the Videra survey at specified intervals
Assists with patient advocacy, patient, and patient family complaint/resolution, interacting with physicians and staff in identifying and resolving issues, as needed.
Administers the CMS Psychiatric Inpatient Experience Survey to patients at discharge.
Ensures that all surveys are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Provides clear explanations to patients regarding the purpose and importance of the surveys.
Maintains a compassionate and supportive approach to ensure patient comfort and cooperation.
Collaborates with clinical teams to integrate survey completion into the patient care workflow.
Tracks survey completion rates and report data trends to supervisory staff.
Adheres to all confidentiality and compliance regulations related to patient data.
Requirements
High school or GED required.
Minimum two (2) years’ experience working in a behavioral health setting preferred.
Ability to work compassionately with psychiatric inpatients.
Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality of patients at all times
