At our Luo Ruvo Center for Brain Health, you will be at the forefront of research in aging and neurodegenerative diseases. As a Neuropsychology Technician, you will work with and provide the highest quality of care to clinic patients, longitudinal research participants, and clinical trials participants. You will work alongside our faculty to produce novel research with the goal of presenting and publishing the findings.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately recording responses, times and scores and writing detailed behavioral observations concerning patient performance during tests.

  • Maintains record keeping and data retrieval systems.

  • Utilizes a variety of standardized tests to assess memory, concentration, language and other cognitive domains.

  • Provides behavioral therapy. Assists neuropsychologist with collecting medical history during the clinical interview.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology

Certifications:

  • None required.

Work Experience:

  • Two years experience in a related position and/or supervised experience preferred, with cognitive assessment.

  • Experience with clinical trials preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.

  • Requires frequent standing and walking.

  • Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 75 pounds.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $17.25

Maximum hourly: $26.31

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. While the pay range is displayed as an hourly rate, Cleveland Clinic recruiters will clarify whether the compensation is hourly or salary. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
